Colombo, Nov 4 — The Kavya Women’s U-19 Championship begins in Sri Lanka today.
In the opening match, the host nation Sri Lanka will face Maldives. Following that, Nepal will take on Kyrgyzstan in the second match, scheduled to start at 5:15 PM Nepali time.
A total of four teams — Sri Lanka, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, and Maldives — are participating in the tournament. Each team will compete against the others in a round-robin format.
After the league stage, the top-ranked team will play against the fourth-placed team, and the second-ranked team will face the third-placed team in the semifinals. The final and third-place matches are scheduled for Kartik 23 (November 8).
