The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has reopened online applications for scholarship admission to Grades 11 and 12 for the academic year 2082–83 (2025–2026) to fill the remaining vacant seats.
The new application round is specifically for students who appeared in the entrance exam but were not selected in the first or second nomination lists.
In a notice issued on Friday, KMC has requested eligible students to submit their online applications by 5:00 PM on Shrawan 18 (August 2).
Previously, the entrance exam was held on Shrawan 4 (July 19), followed by the publication of the first and second nomination lists on Shrawan 6 and 13, respectively.
Since several seats still remain vacant across various educational institutions, this final call for applications is being made as a “wrap-up” phase, according to the notice.
Students who took the entrance exam but did not make it to the earlier lists, those who submitted complaints about placement issues, or anyone interested in being included in the final nomination are all eligible to reapply.
