KP Sharma Oli, chairman of the CPN-UML, has been diagnosed with a urinary infection.
Following the infection, his planned kidney stone surgery has been postponed. The procedure will now be carried out after a few days.
Oli, who is currently receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, underwent a urine test on Thursday.
According to the hospital, the test report confirmed a urinary infection.
