Targeting the heavy crowd during the festival season, the Lalitpur District Administration has introduced special arrangements for public and private passenger vehicles traveling via Kanti Lokpath to Makwanpur–Sindhuli.
According to the administration, vehicles will operate under a specified schedule from Ashoj 7 to Ashoj 21 (Kojagrat Purnima) to ensure smoother traffic flow.
During this period, only vehicles with a maximum load of 30 tons and up to 10 wheels must reach designated entry and exit points by 9 p.m. Entry from Makwanpur to Lalitpur is designated at Baguwa (Bagmati Rural Municipality–2), and exit from Lalitpur is set at Tikabhairav (Godawari Municipality–6).
With the monsoon rains still active and the risk of landslides and other hazards persisting, the administration has urged passengers and drivers to travel cautiously. Vehicles must operate strictly according to instructions from security personnel, follow lane discipline, and remain alert to potential risks.
