
The Kaligandaki Corridor in Rakse, Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2, Gulmi has reopened after being completely blocked by a landslide earlier this morning.
According to Gangabahadur Saru, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi, the road was cleared with the help of the construction company working on the road and the rural municipality.
Following the clearance, vehicles that had been stranded since morning have started moving toward their destinations. The Kaligandaki Corridor frequently experiences blockages during rainfall.
Meanwhile, the Ridi–Wamitaksar road in Gulmi remains closed as of this morning. The Dahare Khola in Satyawati Rural Municipality-6 brought floodwaters mixed with debris, causing the blockage.
The District Administration Office, Gulmi, has urged residents to exercise caution and remain safe, as roads are prone to hazards during rainfall.
