Continuous rainfall has triggered landslides along various sections of the BP Highway in Mangaltar area of Roshi Rural Municipality, Kavre, disrupting vehicular movement in both directions.
According to the Kavre District Traffic Office, mud and debris from landslides have completely blocked the road. Dozers have been deployed to clear the obstruction and reopen the highway.
The road closure has left passengers stranded, with both long-distance and short-distance vehicles stuck along the route.
