Senior leader of CPN (Unified Socialist) Jhalanath Khanal has said that they parted ways in order to become united as a single party again.
Speaking at a gathering of his close associates on Saturday after the party decided to unite with the CPN (Maoist Centre), Khanal said that they will now move forward with the process of forming a new party. He mentioned that discussions will be held to achieve broader unity within the communist movement.
Commenting on CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli’s call to “return home,” Khanal remarked, “It’s not enough just to say ‘come home’; the door must be properly opened, and if a good place to stay is arranged, then there’s no objection to returning.”
