After the lifting of the curfew and restrictions, daily life is gradually returning to normal across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley. From Sunday, public transportation resumed full operations, and hotels, grocery stores, and government offices have also reopened.
Although some public transport services began operating around the Ring Road from Saturday, services have now resumed across inner roads and areas outside the valley as well. This has provided relief to ordinary citizens who had been facing transportation difficulties for a long time.
The availability of public transport has made daily routines easier. Citizens from various areas have expressed that reaching their destinations is now more convenient. Meanwhile, hotels, restaurants, grocery shops, and other commercial establishments are gradually reopening. Government offices are also operating at full capacity, providing relief to service seekers.
Local authorities are coordinating to restore normalcy in public life. Efforts are being made to revive the economy, which had suffered due to the prolonged shutdown, and commercial activities are expected to pick up momentum. In this process, everyone is urged to adhere to safety measures and health protocols.
