The Lumbini Province Election Office in Dang has announced that it will publish the results of the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 through digital technology.
According to Gehendra Kunwar, Information Officer at the Provincial Election Office Dang, preparations have been made to publicize the vote count results through display boards this year. In previous elections, results were announced verbally through a speaker system, but this time digital screens will be used.
He said that the results will be made public through both display boards and a website. The move is expected to ensure a single-channel system for result dissemination, making the process more transparent and reliable.
A decision will be made regarding how many phases (lots) the results will be announced in, and accordingly, the vote counts from all three constituencies of Dang will be published digitally.
Kunwar added that there was also a plan to implement this system across the entire province. Although that may not be possible immediately, Dang will adopt the digital practice this time.
