Youth leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and Madhes Province Assembly member Rehbar Ansari has submitted his resignation by post.
On Thursday, Ansari sent his resignation letter addressed to CPN coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal. In the letter, he accused the CPN (Maoist Centre) of abandoning courage, integrity, and commitment after unifying with other political parties.
“Courage, integrity, and risk-taking—all three have been abandoned by the party. I cannot be part of this contradiction,” Ansari stated in his resignation letter, adding that he was leaving the party membership with the slogan “Long live the socialist revolution.”
Ansari was elected as a member of the Madhes Province Assembly from the CPN (Maoist Centre).
