Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Kumar Yadav has officially assumed office. On Sunday, after taking the oath of office and secrecy, he reached the Chief Minister’s Office and formally took charge.
After assuming office, Chief Minister Yadav announced that the Cabinet will be expanded soon. Stating that he joined the government with the intention of working from day one, he said the Council of Ministers would be expanded shortly with representation from all parties in the ruling coalition.
He also expressed hope for constructive support from the opposition parties.
Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that his administration will focus on maintaining good governance and ensuring that the tasks that can be accomplished at the provincial level are carried out efficiently and promptly. He further claimed that political stability will now be established in Madhesh Province.
