Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has officially resigned from his position through the Provincial Assembly session held today (Tuesday).
His resignation came just days after he had requested the Provincial Assembly Secretariat last Friday to make arrangements for a vote of confidence. Instead of facing the floor test, Singh chose to step down directly during the assembly meeting.
This move marks a significant political development in Madhesh Province, and further steps will now be taken to appoint a new Chief Minister as per the constitutional and political process.
