A special Maha Shivaratri Bhajan Festival featuring Pokhara’s renowned youth bhajan group will be held at Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple in Chandragiri.
On Sunday, on the sacred occasion of Maha Shivaratri, a day-long special bhajan festival will take place in the temple premises at Chandragiri.
The festival will include a special bhajan performance from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM by Pokhara’s youth bhajan group, which has been elevating bhajan culture to new heights. The group, including Uttam Baral and Jupiter Poudel, will present devotional songs. Participants will have the opportunity to join in singing bhajans and experience spiritual bliss through listening.
In the evening, devotees will also have the opportunity to receive Maha Aarti along with the sacred Shiva Dhuni.
For devotees attending the Maha Aarti, Chandragiri Cable Car will provide a 50 percent discount after 4:30 PM. To facilitate those participating in the Maha Shivaratri celebrations and Maha Aarti, the cable car service will operate until 8:00 PM.
The festival has been organized with the objective of further strengthening the religious and cultural identity and significance of Bhaleshwor Mahadev in Chandragiri. Devotees and lovers of bhajan music are expected to experience the divine joy of Maha Shivaratri.
Chandragiri Hills has invited all devotees to make this year’s Maha Shivaratri special by combining bhajan music, spiritual energy, and the darshan of Bhaleshwor Mahadev.
