A mini truck accident on the border of Lalitpur’s Mahankal Rural Municipality and Konjyosom Rural Municipality at Chaughare Bawandanda last night claimed the lives of four people.
The mini truck (Bagmati Province–01–004 Ka 6228) was heading from Lele to Kaleshwar Temple to offer a trident when it met with an accident at around 9 PM.
According to police, the deceased include the driver, 52-year-old Ganesh Khadka of Godawari Municipality–6, and the vehicle owner, 42-year-old Ganesh Thapa from the same area.
Two other male passengers who were in the truck died during treatment at Patan Hospital. Their identities are yet to be confirmed.
District Police Range Lalitpur stated that further investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
