Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has made it clear that there has been no discussion regarding his involvement in any political party.
Issuing a statement, Minister Ghising said he was seriously concerned about news circulated on various social media platforms and media outlets linking him to a political party named Ujyalo Nepal Party and claiming that he was going to be appointed as its chairman.
“As mentioned in those reports, there has been no discussion whatsoever about my involvement with that party. I also clarify that I did not participate in any ‘Zoom’ meeting as falsely claimed,” he stated. “Without any communication or consultation with me, false and baseless information has been spread with malicious intent.”
He firmly refuted all such claims and condemned the attempt to drag his name into political activities without his consent. Ghising also urged everyone not to be misled by fabricated news and misinformation being circulated for vested interests.
