Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel is set to resign from his ministerial post.
Kharel will contest the upcoming House of Representatives election from Lalitpur–2 representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
According to sources, he will hold a press conference this evening to officially announce his resignation.
He is resigning ahead of tomorrow’s candidate nomination schedule to be eligible to file his candidacy.
