Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has claimed that the government is working tirelessly to address the demands raised by the Gen-Z generation.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Thursday, Minister Kharel said the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, is committed to fulfilling the mandates given by the youth-led anti-corruption movement within the next five months.
“The citizens’ government led by Sushila Karki is working day and night to fulfill the mandates received from the Gen-Z youth,” Kharel said. He added that the government is making continuous efforts to meet the objectives set by the youth movement against corruption.
Kharel also stated that although his tenure at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is nearing its end, he would not engage in any wrongdoing intentionally.
“I have about five months left in my tenure. I don’t know how much can be achieved in that time, but I assure you that I will not knowingly or deliberately do anything wrong. I will return the same way I came. Within the remaining five months, we must fulfill the mandates given by the Gen-Z movement,” he said.
Minister Kharel further emphasized that the government is firm in its commitment to curb corruption and ensure good governance across the country.
