Defying an order from the Kathmandu District Administration Office, monarchists held a rally in Samakhusi today.
During the demonstration, participants chanted slogans such as “Raja Aau, Desh Bachau” (Come back, King, Save the Nation), “Down with the Murderous Government,” “Down with the Republic,” and “Our King, Our Nation — Dearer Than Life.”
The protesters shouted slogans for about 20 minutes inside a police cordon at Samakhusi Chowk.
