Morang clinched the District-Level Women’s Inter-Hub T20 Cricket Tournament title organized by the Saptari Cricket Association in coordination with Sabal Nepal in Rajbiraj.
In the final match held on Thursday at the Pabima School Ground, Morang defeated Siraha by seven wickets.
Winning the toss and batting first, Siraha managed to score only 46 runs in 14.4 overs, losing all wickets. Anuradha Chaudhary was the top scorer with 26 runs, while no other batter reached double digits.
For Morang, Srijana Rajbanshi took three wickets, Niru Rajbanshi grabbed two, and Subeksha Limbu, Bandana Rajbanshi, and Purnima Rajbanshi claimed one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 48 runs, Morang reached the goal in just eight overs, losing three wickets. Prinsa Ranamagar remained unbeaten on 15 runs, Khushi Rajbanshi contributed 11 runs, and Tika Sah added 10 runs.
For Siraha, Saraswati Chaudhary took two wickets, while Meena Mahato claimed one.
Srijana Rajbanshi of Morang was declared the Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
