There is currently no significant weather system affecting the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
This afternoon, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly areas of all provinces, while the weather will remain generally clear in the rest of the regions. Light rain or snowfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province.
Tonight, the weather will remain generally clear across most parts of the country, with partly cloudy skies over the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
The department stated that light rain or snowfall may occur at one or two locations in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province.
