The Muglin–Narayangadh road section has resumed one-way traffic from 5 AM today after being closed overnight due to continuous landslides.
Authorities had banned vehicle movement from 9 PM last night until 5 AM this morning as landslides at Tuiun Khola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-6 showed no sign of stopping. The road had initially reopened for one-way traffic late Sunday afternoon after being blocked since Friday evening, but a fresh landslide at 8 PM Sunday forced another temporary shutdown.
According to Inspector Pratik Singh of the Muglin Area Police Office, debris was cleared during the night to allow limited movement. Due to heavy traffic congestion, he urged drivers to strictly follow their designated lane while traveling.
More than 10,000 vehicles use this key highway daily, and many passengers who were stranded for the past two days have now started reaching their destinations. Until the road is fully operational in both directions, the District Administration Office has advised travelers to use alternative routes whenever possible.
