A by-election for the vacant seat of the National Assembly will be held on January 25 (Magh 11). The decision was made during the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.
The National Assembly holds elections every two years to fill vacant positions.
Additionally, the government has decided to amend Schedule-2 of the Federal Parliament Officials and Members’ Remuneration and Facilities Act, 2073.
