
The meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled to take place today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor at 1:15 PM.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, five possible agendas have been set for today’s meeting, ranging from questions and answers to the tabling of bills and proposals to be sent to committees.
The meeting will begin with oral questions related to the Ministry of Finance, where Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel will respond to queries raised by lawmakers.
Following that, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, will present the report on the “National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081” before the House.
Similarly, National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal will table the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the “Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081.”
Likewise, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, will present a proposal to send the “Intangible Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill, 2081” to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussion.
In addition, Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, will table a proposal to send the “Social Media Bill, 2081” to the committee for clause-wise discussion.
