The Federal Parliament Secretariat has scheduled a meeting of the National Assembly of Nepal for today starting at 12:15 PM.
According to the agenda, the meeting will formally announce the unopposed election of Lila Kumari Bhandari, a lawmaker from the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), as the Deputy Chair of the National Assembly, as she was the sole candidate for the post.
The agenda also includes Prime Minister Balen Shah presenting the 24th Annual Report for the fiscal year 2080–81 of the National Human Rights Commission of Nepal before the Assembly.
