The 20th session of the Rastriya Sabha is commencing from today.
According to Federal Parliament Secretary General Padma Prasad Pandey, the meeting will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday.
To prepare for the meeting, Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal held a meeting of the Work Arrangement Advisory Committee on Wednesday.
At the start of today’s meeting, the Chairperson is scheduled to inform the house about the letter sent by President Ram Chandra Paudel regarding the convening of the session.
Similarly, Chair Dahal will also read out the letter received from the President’s Office regarding the formation of the Council of Ministers and the assignment of responsibilities.
Discussions are also expected on preparations for the election of the Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly and the chairs of various committees.
The meeting of the newly formed Pratinidhi Sabha is also beginning from today.
