The National Examination Board (NEB) has opened application forms for the Grade 12 annual examinations of the academic session 2082/083. Students, both regular and partial, are invited to submit their exam applications according to the annual schedule.
Students wishing to pay the exam fee within the regular period must submit the required amount by the end of Poush 2082. Those who miss this deadline can submit the form with a late fee by Magh 15.
For this year’s examination, students with registration numbers starting with “82” can apply as regular candidates. Partial candidates with registration numbers starting with “79,” “80,” and “81” are eligible to apply.
To be eligible as a regular candidate, students must have obtained at least a “D” grade in the theoretical component and a “C” grade in internal or practical components of Grade 11. Along with the application form, students must submit a Grade 11 certified grade sheet and a copy of their registration card.
The exam fee has been set at NPR 800 per student, and with the late fee, it will be NPR 1,600. For subjects requiring external examiners—such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Hotel Management—students are required to pay an additional practical fee. Part of this practical fee is retained by the school for internal examiners, with the remaining amount deposited into the Board’s account. Practical exams must be completed by Chaitra 30, 2082, and scores submitted to the Board by Baishakh 15.
Partial exam applications must be submitted through the same school where the student appeared for the regular Grade 12 exam. Subject selection must correspond to the subjects studied in Grade 11 and the same group; otherwise, the application will be automatically rejected.
Students must fill out the application form themselves, and schools are responsible for entering the details into the Board’s online portal. For fee payment, students can use bank vouchers or digital payment methods such as Connect IPS, eSewa, Khalti, and IME-Pay.
