The National Examination Board has made public the examination schedule for general, traditional, and technical subject groups under both the new and old curricula, as well as for grade improvement exams.
The exams will be held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. On the first day, exams will take place for Compulsory English under the new and old courses and for grade improvement. On the same day, there will also be exams for Sanskrit Composition, Buddhist Studies, and Urdu Grammar under the new course, and Compulsory Optional Sanskrit Composition under the old course.
The board has stated that students who are absent in the exams ending on Baisakh 27 will not be given another chance to take the exam. If an unexpected public holiday falls within the exam schedule, exams will not be postponed without prior notice from the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
This year, 360,000 regular students are expected to appear in Grade 12 exams. Last year, 396,347 regular and 114,640 partial students participated. The Grade 12 exams last year started on Baisakh 21 and ended on Jestha 2.
