Nepal Airlines Corporation has prepared to operate a special Kathmandu–Dubai–Kathmandu flight, which is expected to provide relief to Nepali passengers affected by the recent tensions in the Middle East.
Due to the rising tensions in the region, flights have been disrupted for the past few days. To help passengers reach their destinations, the airline has arranged this special service. According to a notice issued by Nepal Airlines, the Kathmandu–Dubai flight will depart tonight at 11:00 PM.
Similarly, the Dubai–Kathmandu return flight will depart tomorrow at 4:10 AM local time.
The airline stated that passengers who had purchased tickets but were unable to travel between February 28 and March 9 can use this special service. They have been requested to send their tickets via email for verification.
Following the escalating tensions in the Middle East, air services were suspended in several countries including United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Bahrain, leaving many Nepali passengers stranded.
