To ensure a free, fair, and peaceful House of Representatives Election 2082, the Nepal Army deployed in Rautahat district has strengthened security arrangements.
Targeting the election scheduled for Falgun 21, the Sri Narayandal Battalion of the Nepal Army has launched extensive security patrols and surveillance operations using modern military vehicles, including armored vehicles, along with foot and motorcycle patrols. The army has intensified its activities to control potential risks by mobilizing patrols simultaneously at various polling stations across the district. As the election date approaches, security vigilance has been heightened throughout Rautahat.
Special monitoring has been maintained around polling centers, and strict security measures have been put in place to prevent any unwanted activities. The Sri Narayandal Battalion is deployed in all 17 local levels of Rautahat district. The army stated that joint patrols and coordinated security management are being carried out in collaboration with Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force.
