The Nepal Army has urged everyone not to believe misleading or false news circulating about the Army amid the current situation, as various comments, opinions, and analyses are being shared linking the Army.
The Army’s Public Relations Directorate stated that it regularly releases its official statements and activities through press releases, press notes, and official social media channels, and therefore, the public should not trust misleading or false information.
The Army also requested coordination with the Information Directorate and the Army’s regional headquarters across the country for official information. It has published the contact details, including phone numbers, of eight regional headquarters, advising people not to rely on false information.
