The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has called a parliamentary party meeting. Newly elected MP Ramesh Mall informed that the meeting will be held on Sunday at 1 PM at the party’s central office in Parisdanda. The meeting may also select the party leader.
“The parliamentary party meeting can select the party leader. There is no doubt that Prachanda will become the party leader,” he said.
In the election held on Falgun 21, the Nepal Communist Party won 8 seats directly and 7 seats proportionally, totaling 17 seats.
