Nepal registered a dominant victory over Pakistan in the Women’s Blind T20 Cricket World Cup. In the tournament jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, Nepal defeated Pakistan by a massive 10-wicket margin on Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 171 runs in Colombo, Nepal reached the total in just 13 overs without losing a wicket. Vinita Pun starred with an unbeaten 107 runs off 54 balls, while Mankeshi Chaudhary contributed an unbeaten 43 runs from 31 balls.
Earlier, Nepal won the toss and opted to field first. Pakistan scored 158 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted overs, with Mehrin Ali top-scoring with an unbeaten 77. Six Pakistani batters were run out.
Before this match, Nepal had defeated the USA by 10 wickets, Australia by 8 wickets, and Sri Lanka by 9 wickets. Nepal’s only loss came against India, where they were defeated by 85 runs.
