
Nepal clinched a thrilling victory against South Australia, winning by 2 wickets in a one-day match held on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 243 runs, Nepal reached the score in 44.1 overs, losing 8 wickets. Captain Rohit Paudel was the star of the match with a brilliant 101-run century, while Sompal Kami contributed an unbeaten 38 runs. The pair added 83 runs for the ninth wicket, steering Nepal to victory.
Earlier, South Australia, batting first after winning the toss, were bowled out for 242 runs in 45 overs. For Nepal, Sompal Kami and Nandan Yadav took 3 wickets each, while Rupesh Singh, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Shahab Alam claimed one wicket apiece.
This ODI win came after Nepal had lost both of their earlier T20 matches against South Australia. However, Nepal had secured victories in both matches against Cricket ACT during the tour. With this result, Nepal’s Australia tour concludes on a high note.
