
Chonburi (Thailand) — Nepal crashed out of the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers after suffering a heavy 12–0 defeat against hosts Thailand on Friday.
In the decisive Group ‘F’ match held at the Chonburi Stadium, Thailand dominated completely, scoring eight goals in the first half and four in the second half.
With the victory, Thailand topped the group with six points from two matches and advanced to the 2025 AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup in China.
Earlier, Nepal had played a goalless draw against Turkmenistan, while Thailand had thrashed Turkmenistan 17–0 in their first match.
