Nepal finished as runner-up in the ACC U-19 Men’s Premier Cup, losing to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 27 runs in the final match today.
Chasing a target of 148 runs, Nepal were bowled out for 120 runs in 33.2 overs.

- UAE’s Yug Jai Sharma and Ali Asgar Shams picked up 3 wickets each, dismantling Nepal’s chase.
Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, UAE were bowled out for 147 runs in 45.5 overs at the Karwan Cricket Ground.
- UAE’s Ahmad Khudadad played a crucial innings of 71 runs.
- For Nepal, Dayanand Mandal took 6 wickets, Aparajit Paudel grabbed 2, while Nitish Kumar Patel and captain Ashok Dhami took one wicket each.
Despite the loss, both Nepal and UAE had already secured qualification for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup, which begins on December 12 in the UAE.
