Shishir Khanal held a courtesy meeting on Tuesday with Zhang Maoming at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Ambassador Zhang conveyed a message of congratulations and best wishes to Minister Khanal on assuming office, on behalf of Wang Yi.
The discussion focused on further strengthening the historic relationship between Nepal and China, as well as expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Zhang reaffirmed China’s continued support for Nepal’s development efforts.
Earlier on Monday, Minister Khanal had also held a meeting with Navin Srivastava, highlighting ongoing diplomatic engagement with both neighboring countries, India and China.
