A new youth organization named ‘Nepal Gen Z Front’ has been announced under the coordination of Raksha Bam, one of the key figures in the recent Gen Z movement. Bam made the announcement on Friday through social media, releasing a 21-page document outlining the group’s formation and objectives.
According to Bam, the main goal of the Front is to institutionalize the “Gen Z Uprising” of Bhadra 23 and 24 and to unify agendas related to reaching an agreement with the state.
The newly formed Front includes:
- Yujan Raj Bhandari – Coordinator, Organizational Committee
- Yatish Ojha – Information and Communication Committee
- Manish Khanal – Dialogue Committee
- Aditya Karna – Provincial Coordination Committee
- Ritu Khadka, Sambidhan Prasain, Najir Alam, Asan Ansari, and Pooja Mehta – Members
According to the statement, this is an initial coordination structure formed to unite all Gen Z groups sharing similar political beliefs. The Front has also called on youth activists from Kathmandu and other regions of Nepal who participated in the Gen Z protests to join the movement.
Organizational Committee Coordinator Yujan Raj Bhandari stated that the Front plans to operate within a federal structure, and provincial and district committees will be announced soon.
