Nepal has suffered its second consecutive loss in the ongoing edition of the Hong Kong Sixes. In the match held on Saturday morning, Nepal was defeated by South Africa by four wickets, ending its journey in the tournament at the group stage.
Batting first, Nepal was bowled out for just 58 runs in 3.3 overs. Rashid Khan scored 16 runs, Lokesh Bam added 14, and Mohammad Adil Alam contributed 13 runs for Nepal.
In reply, South Africa comfortably chased down the 59-run target in 3.4 overs. Blake Simpson top-scored with 30 runs, while Jorich van Schalkwyk made 17 and Abdullah Bayoumy added 16.
For Nepal, Lokesh Bam was the only successful bowler, taking two wickets. Earlier in their first match, Nepal had suffered a 17-run defeat against Afghanistan.
