Nepal national cricket team opener Kushal Bhurtel has slipped 10 positions in the latest ICC ODI player rankings.
According to the new rankings published by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday, Bhurtel has dropped to 99th position among ODI batsmen.
In the same category, Nepal’s wicketkeeper-batsman Aasif Sheikh climbed four spots to reach 91st place. However, Arif Sheikh dropped three places and now sits at 94th position.
India’s Rohit Sharma has claimed the top spot in the ODI batting rankings, improving by two places. Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran is ranked second, while India’s Shubman Gill slipped two spots to third. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is ranked fourth.
In ODI bowling rankings, Nepal’s Lalit Rajbanshi remains unchanged at 48th position. Sandeep Lamichhane dropped one spot to 59th. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee and Karan KC have fallen two and eight spots respectively, ranking 81st and 90th.
In the ODI all-rounder rankings, Nepal’s Sompal Kami slipped eight places to 61st, while Sandeep Lamichhane dropped one spot to 62nd. Lalit Rajbanshi moved up four spots to 74th, while Kushal Malla fell four places to 73rd.
