Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the rates set by the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 144.76, while the selling rate stands at Rs 145.36.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been set at Rs 170.70 and the selling rate at Rs 171.41. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 196.72 and sold at Rs 197.54, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 186.09 and a selling rate of Rs 186.86.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 101.01 and the selling rate at Rs 101.43. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 105.78 and sold at Rs 106.22, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 113.68 and a selling rate of Rs 114.16.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.22 and the selling rate at Rs 9.26. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.86 and sold at Rs 20.95. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.60 and a selling rate of Rs 38.76, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.61 and sold at Rs 39.77.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.58 and the selling rate at Rs 4.60. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.41 and sold at Rs 39.58. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 36.67 and a selling rate of Rs 36.82. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 9.87 and the selling rate at Rs 9.91. Similarly, the Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.98 and sold at Rs 16.05, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.86 and a selling rate of Rs 22.95.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.52 and the selling rate at Rs 18.60. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 473.69 and sold at Rs 475.65. Likewise, the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 383.97 and a selling rate of Rs 385.56, while the Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 376.02 and sold at Rs 377.58. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also clarified that the rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
