Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 146.13 and the selling rate at NPR 146.73.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro stands at NPR 173.41 and the selling rate at NPR 174.12. One UK pound sterling is being bought at NPR 200.33 and sold at NPR 201.15, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of NPR 188.45 and a selling rate of NPR 189.22.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 101.73 and the selling rate is NPR 102.15. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 107.22 and sold at NPR 107.66, and the Singapore dollar has been fixed at NPR 115.03 for buying and NPR 115.50 for selling.
For Japanese yen, the rate for 10 units is NPR 9.44 for buying and NPR 9.48 for selling. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.05 and a selling rate of NPR 21.13. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at NPR 38.96 and sold at NPR 39.12, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 40.10 for buying and NPR 40.26 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.63 and a selling rate of NPR 4.65. The UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 39.78 and sold at NPR 39.95. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 37.07 for buying and NPR 37.22 for selling. Likewise, the South Korean won (per 100 units) has been fixed at NPR 10.08 for buying and NPR 10.12 for selling. The Swedish krona is being bought at NPR 16.40 and sold at NPR 16.47, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of NPR 23.22 and a selling rate of NPR 23.31.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.71 and the selling rate at NPR 18.79. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 478.64 and sold at NPR 480.61. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at NPR 387.61 for buying and NPR 389.20 for selling, while the Omani riyal stands at NPR 379.58 for buying and NPR 381.14 for selling.
The buying rate of Indian currency per 100 units has been fixed at NPR 160, while the selling rate stands at NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also noted that the rates determined by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
