Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.28, while the selling rate stands at NPR 144.88.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 170.11 and the selling rate is NPR 170.82. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 196.31 and a selling rate of NPR 197.12. The Swiss franc has been fixed at NPR 185.55 for buying and NPR 186.32 for selling.
The Australian dollar is priced at NPR 101.73 for buying and NPR 101.15 for selling, while the Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 105.43 and a selling rate of NPR 105.87. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is being exchanged at NPR 113.28 for buying and NPR 113.75 for selling.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at NPR 9.18 and the selling rate at NPR 9.22. The Chinese yuan is fixed at NPR 20.79 for buying and NPR 20.87 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.47 and a selling rate of NPR 38.63, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 39.58 for buying and NPR 39.75 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at NPR 4.55 for buying and NPR 4.57 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 39.28 for buying and NPR 39.44 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 36.55 and a selling rate of NPR 36.71. Likewise, 100 South Korean won is priced at NPR 9.84 for buying and NPR 9.88 for selling. The Swedish krona has been set at NPR 16.03 for buying and NPR 16.09 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 22.78 for buying and NPR 22.88 for selling.
The buying rate of the Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at NPR 18.47 and the selling rate at NPR 18.55. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at NPR 472.12 for buying and NPR 474.08 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 382.71 and a selling rate of NPR 384.30, while the Omani riyal stands at NPR 374.78 for buying and NPR 376.34 for selling. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160, while the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
NRB has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It has also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
