Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar witnessing a slight decline, while the Euro, Pound Sterling, and Swiss Franc have increased.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 149.89 and the selling rate is NPR 150.49. The Euro stands at NPR 173.77 (buying) and NPR 174.47 (selling), while the UK Pound Sterling is fixed at NPR 200.97 (buying) and NPR 201.78 (selling). The Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 190.42 (buying) and NPR 191.18 (selling).
Similarly, the Australian dollar is set at NPR 104.49 (buying) and NPR 104.91 (selling), the Canadian dollar at NPR 109.09 and NPR 109.52, and the Singapore dollar at NPR 117.19 and NPR 117.66.
Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen is valued at NPR 9.45 (buying) and NPR 9.48 (selling), while the Chinese yuan stands at NPR 21.75 and NPR 21.83. The Saudi riyal is set at NPR 39.93 (buying) and NPR 40.09 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at NPR 41.03 and NPR 41.19.
Other currencies include the Thai baht at NPR 4.60 (buying) and NPR 4.62 (selling), UAE dirham at NPR 40.80 and NPR 40.97, Malaysian ringgit at NPR 37.88 and NPR 38.04, and 100 South Korean won at NPR 10.01 and NPR 10.05. The Swedish krona is fixed at NPR 16.08 and NPR 16.14, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 23.26 and NPR 23.35.
The Hong Kong dollar is valued at NPR 19.15 (buying) and NPR 19.23 (selling), Kuwaiti dinar at NPR 488.88 and NPR 490.83, Bahraini dinar at NPR 397.01 and NPR 398.60, and Omani riyal at NPR 389.32 and NPR 390.88. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees remains NPR 160 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).
The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed, and commercial banks may have slightly different rates. Updated rates are available on the bank’s official website.
