Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 141.57 and the selling rate at NPR 142.17.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for other major currencies are as follows:
- Euro: Buying NPR 164.43 / Selling NPR 165.13
- UK Pound Sterling: Buying NPR 186.24 / Selling NPR 187.03
- Swiss Franc: Buying NPR 177.93 / Selling NPR 178.68
The exchange rates for additional currencies include:
- Australian Dollar: Buying NPR 92.95 / Selling NPR 93.35
- Canadian Dollar: Buying NPR 101.17 / Selling NPR 101.60
- Singapore Dollar: Buying NPR 108.83 / Selling NPR 109.29
- Japanese Yen (10): Buying NPR 9.15 / Selling NPR 9.19
- Chinese Yuan: Buying NPR 19.95 / Selling NPR 20.03
- Saudi Arabian Riyal: Buying NPR 37.75 / Selling NPR 37.91
- Qatari Riyal: Buying NPR 38.84 / Selling NPR 39.00
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the rates for other currencies are:
- Thai Baht: Buying NPR 4.38 / Selling NPR 4.40
- UAE Dirham: Buying NPR 38.54 / Selling NPR 38.71
- Malaysian Ringgit: Buying NPR 34.29 / Selling NPR 34.43
- South Korean Won (100): Buying NPR 9.66 / Selling NPR 9.70
- Swedish Krona: Buying NPR 15.05 / Selling NPR 15.11
- Danish Krone: Buying NPR 22.02 / Selling NPR 22.11
The central bank has also set:
- Hong Kong Dollar: Buying NPR 18.22 / Selling NPR 18.29
- Kuwaiti Dinar: Buying NPR 461.52 / Selling NPR 463.47
- Bahraini Dinar: Buying NPR 375.52 / Selling NPR 377.11
- Omani Riyal: Buying NPR 367.71 / Selling NPR 369.27
For Indian currency, the buying rate for INR 100 is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
