Kathmandu, Aug 5 (RSS): Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for Tuesday, determining the buying and selling rates of major international currencies.
According to NRB, the exchange rate for one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 139.96 for buying and NPR 140.56 for selling.
The buying and selling rates for some key currencies are as follows:
- Euro (EUR): Buying at NPR 162.07, selling at NPR 162.77
- British Pound Sterling (GBP): Buying at NPR 186.23, selling at NPR 187.03
- Swiss Franc (CHF): Buying at NPR 173.41, selling at NPR 174.15
- Australian Dollar (AUD): Buying at NPR 90.70, selling at NPR 91.09
- Canadian Dollar (CAD): Buying at NPR 101.59, selling at NPR 102.03
- Singapore Dollar (SGD): Buying at NPR 108.74, selling at NPR 109.21
- Japanese Yen (JPY) per 10 units: Buying at NPR 9.49, selling at NPR 9.53
- Chinese Yuan (CNY): Buying at NPR 19.50, selling at NPR 19.59
- Saudi Riyal (SAR): Buying at NPR 37.31, selling at NPR 37.47
- Qatari Riyal (QAR): Buying at NPR 38.40, selling at NPR 38.56
- Thai Baht (THB): Buying at NPR 4.32, selling at NPR 4.34
- UAE Dirham (AED): Buying at NPR 38.10, selling at NPR 38.27
- Malaysian Ringgit (MYR): Buying at NPR 33.03, selling at NPR 33.17
- South Korean Won (KRW) per 100 units: Buying at NPR 10.12, selling at NPR 10.16
- Swedish Krona (SEK): Buying at NPR 14.50, selling at NPR 14.56
- Danish Krone (DKK): Buying at NPR 21.72, selling at NPR 21.81
- Hong Kong Dollar (HKD): Buying at NPR 17.83, selling at NPR 17.91
- Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD): Buying at NPR 458.10, selling at NPR 460.07
- Bahraini Dinar (BHD): Buying at NPR 371.25, selling at NPR 372.84
- Omani Riyal (OMR): Buying at NPR 363.52, selling at NPR 365.08
The Indian Rupee (INR) is fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per INR 100.
NRB stated that these rates are subject to change as per requirements, and commercial banks may set different rates. The updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
