Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for Tuesday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US Dollar has been fixed at NPR 140.39 and the selling rate at NPR 140.99. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 163.60 and the selling rate is NPR 164.30. The buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 188.27 and the selling rate is NPR 189.07, while the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is NPR 177.08 and the selling rate is NPR 177.84.
The exchange rate for one Australian Dollar has been set at NPR 91.11 (buying) and NPR 91.50 (selling). One Canadian Dollar is valued at NPR 100.05 (buying) and NPR 100.47 (selling). One Singapore Dollar is NPR 108.44 (buying) and NPR 108.90 (selling).
According to the bank, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.32 and the selling rate is NPR 9.36. One Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.71 (buying) and NPR 19.80 (selling). One Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 37.43 (buying) and NPR 37.59 (selling), and one Qatari Riyal is NPR 38.51 (buying) and NPR 38.68 (selling).
The buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.29 and the selling rate is NPR 4.31. One UAE Dirham is NPR 38.22 (buying) and NPR 38.39 (selling). One Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 33.22 (buying) and NPR 33.36 (selling). The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.87 and the selling rate is NPR 9.91. One Swedish Kroner is NPR 14.89 (buying) and NPR 14.95 (selling), while one Danish Kroner is NPR 21.91 (buying) and NPR 22.00 (selling).
Similarly, one Hong Kong Dollar is NPR 18.07 (buying) and NPR 18.15 (selling). The buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 458.76 and the selling rate is NPR 460.72. One Bahraini Dinar is NPR 372.41 (buying) and NPR 374.00 (selling), while one Omani Riyal is NPR 364.64 (buying) and NPR 366.19 (selling). The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the updated exchange rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website
