Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 144.40, while the selling rate stands at Rs 145.00.
The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 170.51 and the selling rate at Rs 171.22. Similarly, the buying rate of one pound sterling is Rs 197.91 and the selling rate Rs 198.73, while the Swiss franc is being exchanged at a buying rate of Rs 185.89 and a selling rate of Rs 186.66.
The Australian dollar is trading at a buying rate of Rs 101.28 and a selling rate of Rs 101.70. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 105.61 for buying and Rs 106.05 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is being exchanged at Rs 113.50 for buying and Rs 113.98 for selling.
Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.21 and the selling rate at Rs 9.25. The Chinese yuan is trading at Rs 20.80 for buying and Rs 20.89 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.51 and a selling rate of Rs 38.67, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 39.62 for buying and Rs 39.78 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.56 for buying and Rs 4.58 for selling. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 39.31 for buying and Rs 39.48 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 36.72 for buying and Rs 36.88 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.91 and the selling rate Rs 9.95. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 16.10 for buying and Rs 16.17 for selling, while the Danish krone is trading at Rs 22.83 for buying and Rs 22.93 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar is being exchanged at Rs 18.49 for buying and Rs 18.56 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 472.75 for buying and Rs 474.71 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 383.03 for buying and Rs 384.62 for selling. The Omani riyal is trading at a buying rate of Rs 375.09 and a selling rate of Rs 376.65.
The exchange rate of the Indian currency has been kept unchanged, with the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
