Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 143.52, while the selling rate stands at NPR 144.12.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is NPR 167.77 and the selling rate is NPR 169.48. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 193.76 and a selling rate of NPR 194.57. The Swiss franc has been fixed at NPR 180.26 for buying and NPR 181.01 for selling.
The Australian dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 96.73 and a selling rate of NPR 97.14, while the Canadian dollar stands at NPR 103.97 for buying and NPR 104.41 for selling. The Singapore dollar has been fixed at NPR 112.01 for buying and NPR 112.48 for selling.
For Japanese yen, the rate for 10 units has been set at NPR 9.17 for buying and NPR 9.21 for selling. The Chinese yuan is fixed at NPR 20.49 for buying and NPR 20.58 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at NPR 38.27 for buying and NPR 38.43 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 39.37 for buying and NPR 39.54 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at NPR 4.58 for buying and NPR 4.60 for selling. The UAE dirham is set at NPR 39.07 for buying and NPR 39.24 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 35.37 for buying and NPR 35.52 for selling. The South Korean won (100 units) is fixed at NPR 9.92 for buying and NPR 9.96 for selling. The Swedish krona has been set at NPR 15.61 for buying and NPR 15.68 for selling, while the Danish krone is fixed at NPR 22.45 for buying and NPR 22.55 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar has been set at NPR 18.43 for buying and NPR 18.51 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 469.97 for buying and NPR 471.75 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is fixed at NPR 380.73 for buying and NPR 382.23 for selling, while the Omani riyal has been set at NPR 372.79 for buying and NPR 374.35 for selling. The exchange rate for Indian currency has been fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian rupees.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also clarified that the rates determined by commercial banks may differ and that the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
