The Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday.
The buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 148.52 and the selling rate at NPR 149.12.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for other major currencies are as follows:
- Euro: Buying NPR 171.60, Selling NPR 172.29
- UK Pound Sterling: Buying NPR 196.67, Selling NPR 197.46
- Swiss Franc: Buying NPR 185.68, Selling NPR 186.43
Among other currencies:
- Australian Dollar: Buying NPR 102.93, Selling NPR 103.35
- Canadian Dollar: Buying NPR 106.70, Selling NPR 107.13
- Singapore Dollar: Buying NPR 115.62, Selling NPR 116.08
For Asian and Middle Eastern currencies:
- Japanese Yen (per 10): Buying NPR 9.29, Selling NPR 9.33
- Chinese Yuan: Buying NPR 21.66, Selling NPR 21.75
- Saudi Arabian Riyal: Buying NPR 39.55, Selling NPR 39.71
- Qatari Riyal: Buying NPR 40.74, Selling NPR 40.90
Other rates set by the central bank include:
- Thai Baht: Buying NPR 4.55, Selling NPR 4.57
- UAE Dirham: Buying NPR 40.44, Selling NPR 40.60
- Malaysian Ringgit: Buying NPR 36.84, Selling NPR 36.99
- South Korean Won (per 100): Buying NPR 9.90, Selling NPR 9.94
- Swedish Kroner: Buying NPR 15.61, Selling NPR 15.68
- Danish Kroner: Buying NPR 22.96, Selling NPR 23.06
The buying rate for Hong Kong Dollar is NPR 18.95 and selling rate NPR 19.03. Kuwaiti Dinar is set at NPR 483.86 for buying and NPR 485.81 for selling. Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 393.38 for buying and NPR 394.97 for selling, while Omani Riyal is fixed at NPR 385.77 for buying and NPR 387.32 for selling.
The exchange rate for Indian currency (per 100) has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
