Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the determined rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 144.72 and the selling rate is NPR 145.32.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one euro are NPR 171.76 and NPR 172.47 respectively. The UK pound sterling has a buying rate of NPR 197.54 and a selling rate of NPR 198.35, while the Swiss franc is set at NPR 188.52 for buying and NPR 189.31 for selling.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 102.39 and a selling rate of NPR 102.81. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 106.27 for buying and NPR 106.71 for selling, and the Singapore dollar at NPR 114.65 for buying and NPR 115.12 for selling.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.48 and the selling rate is NPR 9.52. The Chinese yuan is set at NPR 20.95 for buying and NPR 21.03 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.59 and a selling rate of NPR 38.75, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 39.70 for buying and NPR 39.87 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.66 and a selling rate of NPR 4.68. The UAE dirham is set at NPR 39.40 for buying and NPR 39.56 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 37.04 for buying and NPR 37.19 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 10.05 and the selling rate is NPR 10.09. The Swedish krona is NPR 16.22 for buying and NPR 16.29 for selling, while the Danish krone is NPR 22.99 for buying and NPR 23.09 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar is fixed at NPR 18.52 for buying and NPR 18.59 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of NPR 474.26 and a selling rate of NPR 476.22. The Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 383.85 for buying and NPR 385.44 for selling, and the Omani riyal at NPR 375.92 for buying and NPR 377.48 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
The central bank has stated that these rates can be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
